Hispanic Outreach Program Manager

Walter F Mena, currently serves as Hispanic Outreach Program Manager, advancing outreach grounded in social justice and care for our common home. Originally from El Salvador, his ministry is rooted in accompanying Latino communities and building bridges of faith, culture, and mission.

Walter is a pastoral minister and community organizer with over 30 years of experience in pastoral leadership and community-based ministry. He holds a master’s degree in Pastoral Theology from Boston College and a certificate in Spiritual Direction. His work integrates pastoral theology, spirituality, and popular education, fostering inclusive spaces where communities can discern, grow, and live out their mission with hope and a commitment to justice.

Walter is married to Ena, and together with their children—Gaby, Catalina, and Joshua—they share a family life grounded in faith, love, and mutual accompaniment.
