As a devout Catholic from a Polish family, and with a background in advocacy and communications, environmental work is the pro-life issue I’ve been dedicated to since I was in college. Originally a climate denier from a low-income and rural area, my eyes were slowly opened to the role of climate change in the world around me — and how climate change impacts the most vulnerable among us. I have worked across political aisles and in my diocese and Church to make sure everyone has a seat at the table when it comes to caring for our common home. I have a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and anthropology from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and a master’s degree in public service from the Clinton School of Public Service. I have worked in both secular and sacred media since 2020, and I’m eager to use my communication skills to make sure everyone knows how to take action and help the environment. When I’m not reading and writing, my fiancé and I care for our animals (we have enough pets to fill Noah’s ark), and we enjoy exploring the world around us.
“As the deer longs for streams of water, so my soul longs for you, O God.” —Psalm 42:2
