The Laudato Si’ Creation Care Team in the Archdiocese of Louisville is developing a Laudato Si’ Action Platform. A member of the Team, Fr. Jim Flynn, was recently given the Catholic Climate Covenant “Laudato Si’ Champions Awards” honoring faith and environment leaders. Fr. Jim has been organizing around Laudato Si’ since its publication, actively creating educational opportunities and discussions wherever he as been asked. He offered a four session series in Spring 2023 on understanding Laudato Si’ and promoting the Action Platform. Also in the Spring, an Archdiocesan Committee was formed with the support of Archbishop Shelton Fabre.
