Catholic Women Religious have always been at the forefront of the Church’s efforts on climate justice, sustainability, and synodality. Today, congregations and communities of women religious are providing extraordinary leadership in realizing the vision of the Vatican’s Laudato Si’ Action Platform.
In this first webinar of 2026, we heard from women religious (and staff who work with congregations of women religious) who are making an enormously positive impact on care for creation. Their inspirational efforts serve as an open invitation for all of us to take up the mantle of Laudato Si’ and synodality and join them in this transformative work.
