Artificial intelligence surrounds us these days. Its growing use is driving a huge expansion of data center construction and siting in communities around the United States. These warehouse sized facilities are essential for powering artificial intelligence, and they require massive amounts of energy and water to function. When we use ChatGPT, Gemini, Google Assistant, Siri, Alexa, Google Maps, social media, etc., do we recognize the enormous impacts of their use? How are local and faith communities responding to the growing impacts?
