No Room at the Inn? Advent, Migration, and Radical Welcome,” Maryknoll Fathers and Brothers
This Advent we remember how Mary and Joseph sought shelter, knocking until finally a door opened. Through traditions like Las Posadas and Panunuluyan, communities are reminded to embody radical hospitality, opening space for God’s presence in the stranger, the migrant, and the excluded. Advent Simplicity Challenge Ignatian Solidarity Network
This Advent, commit to simplicity. In a season that can mistakenly be focused on gifts and consumption, explore ways to live simply as we hopefully prepare for the coming of Jesus and the restoration of the earth. This year, we’ll be mixing in new daily challenges, as well as accompanying PDFs for folks who prefer not to use the interactive calendar.

Pray with the CRS Advent Wreath, Catholic Relief Services invites you to visit their Advent page each week of Advent to help prepare your heart for Christmas. As you light the candle of your Advent Wreath, reflect on the many gifts Jesus brings to our lives—including hope, faith, joy and peace—and on our Gospel call to share them with others to build a more just and peaceful world. Together, let’s prepare our hearts for a Christmas filled with love and purpose! More CRS Advent wreath prayers available here.

Through the Wilderness: Healing for a Weary World, JustFaith Advent Series 2025:
This series invites participants to courageously name the brokenness around and within us; explore what it means to embody prophetic love and courage in today’s world; and dream of a world made whole – and begin to walk toward it. Each session is based on the Old Testament reading from the Revised Common Lectionary (Year A). Though designed primarily for in-person small groups, this series can be easily adapted for individual use or larger gatherings.
