The 2023 Season of Creation campaign focuses on achieving climate justice through debt forgiveness and ending the era of fossil fuels. This webinar, jointly sponsored by Catholic Climate Covenant and Laudato Si’ Movement, explain why the forgiveness of the debts upon developing nations is a critical climate solution and how prayer and public witness can help our nation commit to a just transition away from fossil fuels and assist a global response to climate change.
During this Season of Creation, U.S.Catholics are being invited to pray and act to ask the Biden Administration to take strong action to stop fossil fuel expansion at the upcoming round of international climate negotiations (COP28), and also to include on their COP28 agenda the forgiveness of debts of developing nations.
