Mass for the Care of Creation/Misa por el cuidado de la creación

On July 9, 2025, at the Borgo Laudato Si’ educational center in Castel Gandolfo, Pope Leo celebrated the inaugural Mass for the Care of Creation (Missa pro custodia creationis.) The Dicastery for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments promulgated, on June 8, 2025, the Latin formulary and Lectionary citations to be used in the Mass “For the Care of Creation.” The Holy See released the proper liturgical texts in Latin, and on August 4, 2026, the Dicastery confirmed the English and Spanish translations of those texts for use in the Dioceses of the United States of America.

El 9 de julio de 2025, en el centro educativo Borgo Laudato Si’ de Castel Gandolfo, el Papa León celebró la Misa inaugural por el cuidado de la Creación
((Missa pro custodia creationis.) El 8 de junio de 2025, el Dicasterio para el Culto Divino y la Disciplina de los Sacramentos promulgó el formulario en latín y las citas del Leccionario que se usan en la Misa “Por el cuidado de la creación”. La Santa Sede publicó los textos litúrgicos propios en latín y, el 4 de agosto de 2026, El Dicasterio confirmó las traducciones al inglés y al español de dichos textos para su uso en las diócesis de los Estados Unidos de América.
