This 2022 program focuses on Ecological Spirituality, one of the seven goals of the Vatican’s Laudato Si’ Action Platform (LSAP).The 90-minute (adaptable to your needs) educational program includes readings, prayers, a short video, reflection/discussion questions, a Franciscan contemplation exercise, optional music, and suggested activities. We also provide you with a version for online (i.e. Zoom meetings) or for individual use.
These are the materials available to download:
1) Facilitator Guide – Includes all the instructions, scripts, links, and materials needed for a successful Feast of St. Francis program. This also contains useful background material to assist you if you are providing leadership on an online event (including an editable promotional flier and sample bulletin/newsletter text), and useful information for individuals using the resource.
2) Participant Program – Includes everything that a participant will need – readings, prayers, activities, and discussion questions during an in-person event. This is the printable version of the program.
3) Individual and Online Program – To be used by individuals or by those wishing to use it in an online (virtual) event (i.e. Zoom type meeting). The facilitator of an online program should also check information in the Facilitator Guide.
4) A Blessing of the Animals liturgy is also available. This liturgy is from the 2017 Feast of St. Francis program.
