NOTE: The webinar recording’s audio failed, therefore we are not able to share the original video of the webinar. However, two of our presenters (Jonathan Pruitt and Donele Wilkins) agreed to re-record their presentations. You can watch them above and within the links below.

In this webinar, we heard from three leaders working with their communities to attain environmental and economic justice. They stand with their communities, fighting for a healthy environment for all, and against the ecological abuse they and their communities are experiencing.

Presenters:
•    Maria Lopez-Nuñez, Deputy Director, Organizing and Advocacy, Ironbound Community Corporation, Newark, NJ
•    Donele Wilkins , Founder/CEO-Green Door Initiative, Detroit, MI (Watch presentation here)
•    Jonathan Pruitt, Environmental Justice Program Coordinator, Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Stockton, CA (Watch presentation here)

NOTE: You are invited to watch Part 1 of the series (https://catholicclimatecovenant.org/resource/laudato-si-lens-environment…).

Maria Lopez-Nuñez also shares this website to hear from other environmental justice leaders and a link to see/hear a video about the historic NJ bill S. 232.
